Terms of Service

˜By commissioning artwork from me, Lexi Yoon Kim (yoonicorn studio), you (client) agree to the following terms and conditions.1. Commission Process, Changes, Revisions
• Commissions will proceed in this order: commission requested → sketch → line art / sample colors provided → final piece
• The client will receive a preliminary sketch or concept for approval. Up to 2 revisions (3 versions total) can be made at this stage
• The client will receive line art / sample color draft. Up to 2 revisions (3 versions total) can be made at this stage
• Additional fees will be charged for further revisions
• Free revisions only apply to changes within what was stated in the initial request. Major revisions including character, pose, outfit, and/or background change will cost extra
• Please provide feedback within 4 days. If no feedback is returned, I will move on to the next stage to maintain the schedule
• Once the final artwork is completed, the client will have the opportunity to request minor adjustments. Excessive changes may incur additional charges2. Payment
• 100% upfront payment via Paypal or Ko-fi is required if charge is under $100 (USD)
• Optional payment plan is offered for charges over $100: 50% of cost as upfront payment and the other 50% after sketch approval
• Payment is due within 7 days after commission is accepted. Payment past due date will be canceled and the commission will also be canceled
• Commission that are paid earlier will be prioritized3. Completion and Delivery
• Art work will be completed within 1-4 weeks after the initial sketch
• An estimated date of completion will be provided upon agreement
• Any delays will be communicated to the client
• If a specific deadline is required, you must indicate this in the initial request
• Final artwork will be delivered digitally via method discussed at request4. Cancellation and Refunds
• Full refund = The net amount received after Paypal / Ko-fi transaction fee deduction
• Full refund can be requested via email before I start working on the commission
• Strictly no refund will be made once the sketch work has begun or after the delivery of the final artwork. Please make revisions during earlier stages to prevent any dissatisfaction
• If payment plan is applied, it is possible to cancel at receiving the sketch, however the 50% upfront payment will not be refunded
• If I cannot finish the commission due to unpredictable emergencies or personal circumstances (natural disasters, illness, prolonged electricity outage,...), a full refund will be provided
• Do not file chargebacks under any circumstances. Please always contact me first to resolve any issues5. Copyright and Usage
Artist Rights:
• I retain the copyright to the commissioned artwork, including the right to display it in portfolios and promotional materials
• I retain all rights to the finished commissions and preliminary materials produced during the working process, which include but is not limited to: distribution & reproduction (feature in artbook with client’s permission), self promotion, display on public sites & portfolio as commission samples
• I have to right to decline your commission request for personal reasons
• I have the right to alter my Terms of Service at any time. New rules will not apply retroactively and won’t influence orders started on older termsClient Rights:
• You have the right to use the commissioned artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use requires prior written agreement and additional fees
• You must be above 18 years old to order a commission
• Commissions are for personal use only: gift, wall paper, personal prints, use on social media with credit to artist (@yoonicorn_studio or profile link)
• Do not use preliminary material (sketch, color draft,...) I provide for any other purpose besides commissioning me and your personal use
• Do not trace, edit, resell or make profit from the commission. Cropping the artwork to post online is ok
• Do not use any part of the commission for non-fungible tokens (NFT), blockchain, crypto currency, AI image generators and future inventions of these technologies6. Confidentiality
• Any personal information shared during the commission process will be kept confidential

Pricing

These are general prices but depending on the request, prices are subjected to possible change if necessary

Style A

• Line art based, simpler shading
• 2048*2048 or A4, 300 DPI, PNG
• Extra character 80%+ of base price (but subject to change depending on position)
• Max 2 characters per piece

Style B

• Painterly, no line art
• 2048*2048 or A4, 300 DPI, PNG
• Extra character 90%+ of base price (but subject to change depending on position)
• Max 2 characters per piece

Style C

• Monochrome sketches, messier, not detailed, single color
• 2048*2048, 300 DPI, PNG
• Extra character 70%+ of base price (but subject to change depending on position)
• Max 3 characters per piece

Background

Color Wash
• Single color background

Simple
• Non detailed background, simple shapes

Full Background
• Clear details
• Background takes up over 40% of canvas
• Can be movie like background of where the character is or more graphic design-like
